I did a lot of research (yes I did) for the right mat, after wearing down a lot of yoga mats. Even considered buying the most expensive brand. This one was a great choice and I am very happy with it. While very reasonable, it is a great color, and is quite sticky. I happen to use my yoga paws for early morning yoga when I am still waking up, but in general, it is the right level of stickiness for intermediate-advance yoga. Also, I do lay it on top of my old mat for extra cushion. I think you could get by without doing that. ENJOY! DO heaps of yoga!

The Tapas Ultra Mat is one of our finest mats. As stated above, it measures 1/4 in thick, providing the user with that welcome extra comfort and cushioning. It comes in burgundy (shown)and eggplant (purple) and now in new ocean blue colors (shown) and teal (not shown).It is recommended for those requiring more insulation and cushion. This mat measures 1/4" X 24" X 68". You can order an extra long mat at 74" for more. It is not available in an extra long length in ocean blue.
